Old Homes was the first release from Shut In which is a side project featuring Vincent Bennett of The Acacia Strain, Griffin Landa of Too Pure To Die, and Chris Cain ex Bury Your Dead. It's been awhile since this came out but recently they announced that they'll be coming out with a full length later on this year. This is a very short 4 song EP but I loved what I heard from it. Even though all of the band members are in other bands this EP stands out from sounding anything like any of their other projects. I'd consider it more dark hardcore with some melodic parts thrown in. If you never heard about this or never gave it a listen definitely give it a spin or two. It will not disappoint.
